Coins are the currency students use to unlock tutor contact details. When you register as a student, you receive 6 free coins immediately — no payment needed. Each tutor contact unlock costs 2 coins, so your free 6 coins let you contact 3 tutors straight away. Need more? Buy a coin pack via WhatsApp (see our Contact page for details).

Coin pack prices are available on our Contact page — we handle all purchases via WhatsApp so we can confirm payment manually. Message us on WhatsApp and we will tell you current pack options and prices.

A tuition request is a free post where you describe what you need — subject, area, class level, schedule, and budget. Interested tutors browse these posts and pay their own tokens to unlock your contact details and reach out to you directly. Posting a request is completely free for students.

Every tutor profile is manually reviewed by our team before it goes live. We check that the profile looks genuine and that the bio shows real teaching experience. We do not verify academic qualifications or conduct background checks — parents are advised to ask for references and meet tutors before starting sessions.

Yes — registration is free and you get 6 free coins instantly. Those 6 coins let you unlock 3 tutor contacts without spending a rupee. If you need to contact more tutors, you can buy additional coins via WhatsApp at a low cost.

After spending 2 coins to unlock a tutor, their phone number and email appear on their profile page. You can call them, send a WhatsApp message, or email them directly. lahoretutors.pk is not involved in the tutoring arrangement — you agree terms and payment directly with the tutor.

Coins are non-refundable once used to unlock a tutor's contact details. Unused coins (ones you have not spent yet) can be refunded within 7 days of purchase — email us at hello@lahoretutors.pk with your registered email address to request a refund.

Fill in the registration form at /register. It takes about 5 minutes. You will need to provide your name, phone, email, city, the areas you cover, subjects you teach, and a short bio about your experience. Your profile is reviewed manually and goes live within 24 hours of approval.

Tokens are for tutors only — they are separate from student coins. You use tokens to unlock student job leads (tuition requests) posted by students. Coins are for students to unlock tutor contacts; tokens are for tutors to unlock student leads. The two systems do not interact.

There are three token packs: Starter (5 tokens — PKR 400), Standard (12 tokens — PKR 800), and Pro (25 tokens — PKR 1,500). Purchase is done via WhatsApp — message us and we will send you payment details. Once payment is confirmed, tokens are credited to your account within a few hours.

The token cost for each lead is dynamic — it depends on how many tutors have already unlocked that lead. A fresh lead with no unlocks is free. As more tutors unlock it, the cost rises (1 token for 1–3 unlocks, 2 tokens for 4–6 unlocks, 3 tokens for 7 or more). The cost is always shown clearly before you confirm the unlock, so you will never be charged a surprise amount.

No commission — ever. Once you unlock a student lead and contact them directly, lahoretutors.pk is completely out of the picture. You agree the tutoring fee directly with the student and receive payment directly from them. We earn only from the token pack purchase, not from your sessions.

Common reasons include: an incomplete or very short bio, unclear subject listing, a phone number that does not appear genuine, or information that looks inconsistent. Email us at hello@lahoretutors.pk and we will tell you specifically what to fix so your profile can be approved.

Self-service profile editing is not yet available. To update your bio, subjects, areas, or contact details, email us at hello@lahoretutors.pk with your registered email and the changes you need. We will update it within 24 hours.

Students find tutors through the homepage search bar, city and subject browse pages (/lahore/mathematics, /karachi/physics, etc.), and directly through Google search. A detailed bio with clear subjects and specific areas gives your profile the best chance of appearing in search results and being clicked by students.
