We do not verify the identity, qualifications, background, criminal record or trustworthiness of any tutor, student or parent, and we accept no responsibility for any arrangement, payment, loss, harm or dispute between users. Profile and request details are provided by users themselves. You are fully responsible for your own safety checks before sharing personal information, meeting or paying anyone.

Our quick review of profiles only removes listings that look obviously fake or abusive. It is not a background check, CNIC check or qualification check, and it does not mean we recommend anyone. Unfortunately there are scammers and criminals in every society — please protect yourself and your family.

✓Ask the tutor for their CNIC and check that the name matches.
✓Ask for references (previous students or parents) and actually call them.
✓Keep the first class at home with a parent or adult present.
✓Never pay fees in advance — pay only after classes have started and you are satisfied.
✓Never share OTP codes, bank details or passwords with anyone.
✓Trust your instincts — if something feels wrong, stop and report it to us.

✓Confirm the parent’s identity and home address before your first visit.
✓Tell a friend or family member where you are going for a new home tuition.
✓Never pay any “registration”, “placement” or “security” fee to a parent or agent.
✓Never share OTP codes, bank details or passwords with anyone.
✓If a request looks fake or suspicious, do not go — report it to us.

🚩 Warning signs of a scam

Someone asks for money in advance — “registration”, “security”, “placement” or “advance fee”.
Someone asks you to share an OTP / verification code sent to your phone.
Someone refuses to share their CNIC, references or to meet at home with family present.
Someone claims to work for lahoretutors.pk and asks for payment — we never ask parents for money.
Pressure to decide or pay quickly, or offers that seem too good to be true.

📣 Report a fake profile, fake request or scam

Stop all contact first. Then tell us the tutor ID (e.g. T-0042) or the job link, and what happened. We review reports and may remove the listing.
